Brimming with wide array of extraordinary sights, Chile is an enchanting land full of opportunities for adventure, while the locals are warm and friendly.
Chile is the world’s longest and narrowest country, its sheer expanse accounts for its varied environments, from the desolate, driest desert, the Atacama in the north, down to Patagonia’s silent fjords, glacial streams, and untouched wilderness in the south. Exploring further, you find yet more contrasts in the alpine lakes, world-renowned vineyards and wonderful fishing spots.
It is safe to say, that whatever vision you have for your South American sojourn, Chile has it all.

Santiago and Valparaiso

Situated at the very heart of the country, is Chile’s capital, Santiago. Encapsulating the contrasts of the country, Santiago’s contemporary, cosmopolitan scene nestles within mountainous landscapes and mesmerising snowy summits. Home to an array of remarkable art galleries and museums, buzzing nightlife, and chic eateries, the capital offers fun, culture, and adventure in abundance.
Downtown, the Civic region of Santiago boasts a plethora of cultural sites. Captivating Catholic cathedrals, museums, and official architecture, are freckled around the stunning central Plaza de Armas.

Once you soak up the Civic’s historical sites, indulge a little in the bistros and boutiques of the commercial district, Providencia. Alternatively, at the centre of Santiago, Barrio Lastarria epitomises everything that’s great about the city. A historical, yet bohemian neighbourhood, Lastarria boasts numerous niche bars which sit in contrast with ornate antique stores.

Beyond its own local landmarks, trendy bars and retail havens, Santiago’s central location makes it an ideal base for excursions around the area. Take a day trip to the charming coastal town of Vina del Mar, or venture to Chile’s world famous Central Valley vineyards for wine tasting.

Just a stone’s throw from Santiago, the vibrant UNESCO World Heritage Site and seaport Valparaíso is a must-see. Wander the winding streets within the city’s unique landscape of colourful houses, before following the hilly incline along the traditional tree-lined walkways. The timeworn splendour of Valparaiso is simply something that you have to see to believe.

Atacama Desert

Located in the north is the country’s most remote region, the magnificent Atacama desert, the driest in the world. Scattered across the barren lands, spurting geysers, hot springs, salt flats and lagoons form an enticing oasis. Sitting under an infinite expanse of clear skies, Atacama is a superb stargazing spot.
Despite its desolate dunes, the Atacama Desert is a pristine natural playground. Discover the desert sands by foot, by jeep, or by horseback. Revive your senses as you soak in the hot springs of Puitama. Look on in awe over the astounding salt pan of Salar de Atacama home to a large number of flamingos.Walk among the erupting grand geysers of El Tatio. See Lunar landscape and watch the sunset over the rock formations at the Moon Valley. A trip to the Atacama Desert is a once in a lifetime experience.

Wine Region

Chile’s fertile Wine Region sits within the vast, lush valleys south of Santiago. The region’s renowned wines are a product of each valley’s distinctive, delectable grapes. The climate here mimics that of the Mediterranean; blissful daytime temperatures and cool nights, no matter the month, bless the area and its breath-taking landscapes.
Wine plays an important role in Chilean culture, and so a stay close to the vineyards and wineries promises a warm welcome and the chance to recharge away from the fast pace of city life.

Lake District

The gateway to Patagonia, Chile’s Lake District is an area of unspoilt, striking beauty, which sits under the watchful eye of the majestic Villarica volcano. Pucon, to the north of the district, is the outdoor adventure capital of the country. Locals and travellers alike take in part in a myriad of adventures, including white-water rafting, horseback riding, and cycling.
The Chilean Lake District is a very peaceful place. Journey between the fjords upon glacial lakes, soak in the national park’s hot springs, or take a well-paced trek up to Villarica, and absorb the outstanding views over the district’s forests, lakes and mountains.

Torres Del Paine

Declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in the late 1970s, Torres del Paine is a true Chilean paradise. The park’s trio of steep, striking granite towers are the inspiration behind the region’s name, and their imposing presence make it easy to see why. The immense black towers contrast perfectly with the turquoise glacial lagoons and rich flora which falls beneath them.
As the eighth Wonder of the World, Torres Del Paine is a naturally relaxing destination, yet the landscape here also makes it ideal for biking, boat trips, and world-class hiking.

Easter Island

The secluded Easter Island, sits roughly 2,300 miles away from the west coast of Chile. The small island of Rapa Nui boasts a rich history shrouded in mystery and wonder, making a visit here an enthralling, magical experience.
The Moai statues are undoubtedly Easter Island’s most iconic landmarks. The 900 stone figures, formed from volcanic rock, earn the island its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You find the huge-headed sculptures, which date back to the 13th century, scattered across the island.
